Wellbeing

At Springwest Academy, we understand the importance of good mental health and aspire to create and nurture an environment where students are able to share their feelings and concerns and are listened to. We will take action whenever necessary and we are committed to ensuring our students and their families are aware of the support available to them.

Our pastoral offer is strong, with every year group having an Achievement Coordinator and a dedicated Pastoral Mentor, who is available to students, supporting their emotional wellbeing and addressing their safeguarding needs.

The pastoral mentors for each year group are:

Year 7: Delisha Rown (d.rown@springwestacademy.org)
Year 8:Debbie Yearsley (d.yearsley@springwestacademy.org)
Year 9: Natasha O'Reilly (n.oreilly@springwestacademy.org)
Year 10: Sharon Royans (s.royans@springwestacademy.org)
Year 11: Karla Paterson (k.patterson@springwestacademy.org)
