"The Arts, it has said, cannot change the world, but they may change human beings who might change the world" - Maxine Greene
Performing Arts Is...
Performing Arts is a creative education developed through Creation, Performance, Analysis and Evaluative skills. Students have three Performing Arts lessons each week during their time as a KS3 student at Springwest Academy where they study a range of disciplines including Drama, Dance, Music, Technical Theatre, The Performing Arts Business & Theatre Journalism. Students can also undertake a Performing Arts subject at KS4 and/or can also get involved in one of the many clubs, productions or opportunities we offer as part of our Co-Curricular offer. The Performing Arts curriculum will allow students to develop a lifelong appreciation of The Arts.
