Professional Footballer Sefa Tunc Inspires Our Year 8 Students
BackOn December 18th Students were treated to an unforgettable experience as professional footballer Sefa Tunc visited the school to share his expertise and inspire the next generation of sporting talent.
Tunc, who plays as a midfielder, led a dynamic football skills workshop with the academy’s Year 8 students, combining practical training sessions with motivational discussions about his journey into professional football.
The day began with an energetic warm-up on the academy’s sports field, followed by drills focusing on ball control, passing accuracy, and teamwork. Tunc demonstrated his mastery of the game, performing jaw-dropping skills and encouraging the students to push their limits.
In addition to the on-field activities, Tunc spoke about the challenges he faced on his journey, including overcoming setbacks and balancing education with his passion for football. He emphasised the importance of pursuing education while chasing a dream career in sports, resonating with the school’s ethos of fostering ambition and resilience.
