On Wednesday 26th March, a group of Year 9 students attended a STEM workshop at Brunel University, where they engaged in a range of activities designed to inspire students to consider a future in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related subjects. They began the day learning about AI and how it’s influencing our modern world. They took part in operating and coding Ozobot robots, built their own model cars and worked together as a team to build their own ‘chocolate’ bridges. Overall, students showed great attention to detail in their bridge building project and great analytical thinking when building their own model cars.
