Last week our Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh students embarked on their final expedition in the Surrey Hills, putting all of their knowledge into practice. They faced challenges such as the weather, confusing footpaths and team working within their groups during their first day but collaborated well to overcome them.

As soon as they arrived at the campsite they set up their tents and cooked an array of hot meals in the evening using trangias. They had an early start in the morning but had their compasses and maps out ready, and headed off for their final adventure to complete their expedition. The students displayed all of our virtues by helping each other and applying knowledge to the situations they faced along their travels. Well done to the students who took part.
