Power of Poetry Competition

Last year ten of our students entered the national 'Power of Poetry' competition launched by the Young Writers Company and have now had their work published in an incredible book full of exemplary poetry. This means their names will be forever immortalised in print as 'The Power of Poetry' and a copy has been sent to the British Library and can be requested for viewing. We also have a copy in our own library.

The poems were one a variety of subjects that are important to our authors growing up. This is a real testament to their creativity and skills and we at Springwest are proud to encourage these skills as part of our virtues. It remains to be seen what exciting heights our students will achieve next!
