Why did you choose Springwest for your child?

I chose Springwest for my child after visiting an Open Event.  The staff and students were very welcoming and the students seemed engaged in lessons.  It was clear to see that the education carried out at Springwest was all to a high standard.
 

What do you think about the teaching in the school?

My son was nervous about starting but the teachers made him feel comfortable.  So not only are they giving a good education to my child they are giving him good support on his journey through secondary school.  Brilliant teaching for students at all different levels.

How have the teachers motivated and supported your child to learn?

The teachers have really motivated my son even when he's struggling with new surroundings and people, they have reassured him and made sure he is comfortable.

What would you like a parent considering sending their children to Springwest Academy to know?

Springwest is a brilliant school.  A lot of engagement from staff, ongoing communication about your child and a high standard of learning pushes children to reach their full potential.  Their SEN Department can help every child in any way.

What is the main highlight on the school calendar?

I enjoy parent's evening where I meet the teachers and find out how well my son is progressing and also Character Day as my son gets to hear, see and learn new things.
