Why Did You Choose To Come To Springwest? 

I chose to come to Springwest because my siblings came to school here and they told me it was a good school and it really is. I also wanted to attend because my friends were also joining here.

Which Lessons Do You Enjoy The Most And Why?

The lessons I enjoy the most are RE and History. I find both lessons really interesting and you learn new things all the time. I learnt about the Pakistan and India Partition and as I am from Pakistan, I found it interesting to hear true facts about this. The curriculum is broad and covers so many interesting topics.  

What is your favourite subject and why?

My favourite subject is English. I love it because it gives me lots of ideas as I like to write. I enjoy writing personal stories and also write a daily journal.

What advice would you give to a student who is about to start Y7 at Springwest Academy?

My advice would be honestly don't overthink joining secondary school, it's not that big of a jump. Never be afraid to ask for help when you are here. You will adjust to Springwest quickly because so many people are around to help you, such as your HOY, pastoral mentor, form tutor and all of the teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
