Do you want to work in a welcoming and forward-looking school?  Do you want to make a difference?

Springwest Academy, West London, is looking for a talented and committed History teacher to join our friendly Humanities team.

You will play a key role in teaching History at KS3 and KS4.  As an outstanding teacher you will be ambitious for our students and community and will support our ethos of ‘kindness first’.  You will be keen to continuously develop your practice and have a collaborative approach across the department.  This post is a full time post but we are open to applications from people looking for a part time or job share post, for example those returning to the workplace or looking to re-balance their lives.  We welcome applications from both experienced and early careers teachers.

We take staff development very seriously and strive to ensure that you will feel valued and fulfilled.  We offer a variety of staff benefits including no after school meetings, a centralised detention system run by SLT, travel loans, a cycle to work scheme, a pension scheme with excellent employer contributions and an early finish on a Friday.  We have recently been awarded the ACE School of Character quality mark, and are one of the few schools in London to have achieved this.
