We seek to appoint a talented and ambitious teacher to lead our Music department.   As the Deputy Director of Performance you will have the opportunity to shape an exciting curriculum and work within co-curricular areas including the school’s band, choir and school performances.  You will join a thriving Faculty and take responsibility for leading Music in both KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will show considerable initiative, leadership and innovation in the classroom.

  • has expertise in planning the progression of subject skills within individual and across sequences of lessons
  • has a proven track record of great teaching that secures excellent outcomes for students
  • has knowledge and understanding of the subject requirements for Geography
  • can lead and manage the development of appropriate syllabi, resources, schemes of work, and teaching and learning strategies
  • Is kind
  • has qualified teacher status.

Teacher main pay scale or Upper Pay Spine (Outer London) with a TLR 2b
