Visit to the Women's FA Cup Final

On Sunday 14th May Mrs Lloyd, Miss Dunn and Kelsie Christopher-Martin in Year 11 were invited to the Women's FA Cup Final by Baroness Sue Campbell as a reward for all their efforts in promoting Girls Football within the Borough.
The weather was spectacular and the Football thrilling, but to top it off was Kelsie getting to high five some of her female football Idols as they collected the runners up and winners medals from Prince William (Well done Chelsea ladies!)
Highlights of the day included meeting a few famous faces including Prince Wiliam, multiple Olympic Gold Medalist Dame Sarah Storey and Ex Lioness Gill Scott.
We would like to thank the Baroness and the FA for such a memorable experience and day to remember, and hope Springwest can continue to help inspire the generation and continue to grow a love for Girls Football.
