Bean Growing Competition

Last week a group of staff and students had an evening in the Springwest Garden digging and planting to get ready for the growing season. It was great to see so many volunteers in our Springwest Blooms garden.  In this area of the school, students help to grow fruit and vegetables that can be used in Food Technology lessons.

The House bean growing competition also started this week with each tutor group being given a pot, bean and instructions how to grow a winning bean. Winners will be announced before the Summer break.
