About us

Springwest Academy is a vibrant, mixed comprehensive school serving the local community of Feltham. We
are an inclusive school that has developed a culture of kindness where staff and students flourish. Students
with SEND are well supported by specialist teachers within mainstream lessons and by various interventions
based on need. We have two Local Authority resourced Centres which provide for students with physical
disabilities and Autism.

We are looking to appoint an efficient and professional administrator to work closely with our two
SENDCOs, and with our friendly, positive and experienced SEND team. In this role, you will assist the
SENDCOs, ensuring an effective administrative and organisational framework of support is in place. The
successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of our SEND provision and will need to be adept
and highly competent at administration , have an eye for detail and possess excellent communication,
literacy and numeracy skills. Successful candidates should have a passion for SEND and inclusion, and enjoy
working with young people.

The key duties revolve around:
● Systems management and reporting;
● Preparation for SEND reviews;
● Interface between the SENCOs and parents;
● Communication with agencies and colleagues.

Hours: 36 hours a week, 38.2 weeks a year (full time, term time only)
Salary: NJC Outer London FTE £35,982-£38,058

Actual pro rata for term time only: £30,582 - £32,346

Contract: Full time, permanent
